It was quickly approaching my wedding day and the dress that I ordered online was still too small. I thought I needed to let it out by adding more material so I sought the help of Alexandria. I informed her that I only had a couple weeks til my wedding day and that I was on the HCG diet and losing weight very rapidly. She determined that it would be best if I altered the dress to have a corset back to ensure we could adjust the dress to fit me on my wedding day. I was very desperate and didn't offer her much notice, but she was extremely flexible and allowed me to come in just 4 days before my wedding to take my measurements and begin the alterations since my weight was drastically changing with the HCG. While I was there I also decided that I didn't want to wear a slip, so I asked if she could line the bottom of the mermaid style gown with some tulle material to give it some flair or volume. She completed the work in a couple of days, and when I went back to try on the dress I was blown away by the fabulous work she had done. My dress looked more like a designer/couture gown after she completed her alterations. It fit like a glove, like i was custom made for me. Her pricing was very affordable, and her craftsmanship was immaculate. I was so happy with the completed product, and I don't know what I would have done if she hadn't saved the day!

As weddings go, you need to order your dress and your bridesmaids dresses long in advance. In our situation one bridesmaid was pregnant when this order was placed. And as weight goes, the bridesmaid lost her weight plus some and the Bride gained it! With great luck we found Alexandria, she was remarkable! Waiting until the week before the wedding, just in case some more weight was lost or gained she reconfigured both dresses beautifully. Redesigning the bridal gown with a corset back to make the dress "adjustable" was the perfect solution and it added character and elegance. The bridesmaid dress had to be cut down several sizes. Moving pockets, changing zippers, adjusting the mid section, so much involved and the dress looked perfect! Both my girls were very happy with the outcome and I loved the affordable price too!
